ATS Institute of Technology is currently hiring experienced full-time and part-time instructors for our practical nursing program. Successful applicants will have at least 2 years of experience teaching adult students and a minimum of a Master’s Degree. We are seeking enthusiastic, engaging instructors capable of teaching and connecting with students. Orientation and training will begin upon hire.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in field of study
- 2 years’ experience teaching adult students
- Competent user of computers and technology; experience with ExamSoft, Engrade, Evolve, PrepU, Pearson MyLab, and/ or College Office a plus
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and track students’ grades and attendance
- Create exams and classroom content and analyze their efficacy
- Keep office and tutoring hours during which students can meet with you
- Respond to all student and administrative emails within 24 hours
- Learn and fully utilize all electronic resources, online homework, and study platforms that will be used in your course
- Update syllabi each semester in coordination with the course coordinator and/or nursing programs administrator
- Implement, uphold, and enforce all program policies as written
- Report for work on time
- Dress professionally at all times

- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program in any state, territory, or political subdivision of the United States of America in which a board or legal approving authority regulates nurse licensure and nursing practice and maintains membership in the National Council of State Boards of Nursing
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing, Masters of Science in Nursing preferred
- Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in the state where the campus is located
- 2 years of nursing or teaching experience

Practical Lab Instructor
Description
ATS Institute of Technology is currently hiring qualified nursing lab instructors for our practical nursing program. Successful applicants will have at least two years of nursing experience and possess a BSN. We are seeking enthusiastic, engaging instructors capable of working with students with a wide range of education and experience to develop skills required for the safe and professional practice of nursing.
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program in any state, territory, or political subdivision of the United States of America in which a board or legal approving authority regulates nurse licensure and nursing practice and maintains membership in the National Council of State Boards of Nursing
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing
- Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in the state where the campus is located
- Experience for at least two years full-time in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse in the clinical area in which students will be practicing
Responsibilities
- Provide orientation for students at the direction of the Lab Coordinator
- Assume responsibility for teaching a group of assigned students in a classroom or lab
- Design the student’s lab experience to achieve the stated objectives or outcomes of the nursing course in which the student is enrolled
- Collaborate with teaching teams in determining the application of principles and concepts to skills and assist as needed to set up the technology lab
- Prepare lab assignments relative to the level of the student, concepts to be learned, and amount of time allotted with input from course coordinator
- Demonstrate and supervise the practice of skills and return demonstration by students
- Adhere to principles and concepts presented in the classroom when guiding skills practice
- Assist in classroom instruction and nursing technology laboratory
- Contribute to the evaluation of the students’ abilities objectively according to the skills checklist
- Maintain appropriate student records as related to student practice
- Assist students referred to the technology lab for additional practice and reevaluation of skills and coordinate with referring instructor
- Alert the course coordinator when a student is unsatisfactory in the lab
- Document and counsel student when unsatisfactory behaviors are observed in class or lab
- Provide academic advising to students currently enrolled in the program as well as consultation and guidance to individual students and colleagues within level of competence
- Implement, uphold, and enforce all program policies as written
- Report for work on time
- Dress professionally at all times
- Submit all course related documents within prescribed time frame
- Maintain a schedule of accessibility for students
- Suggest, initiate, and participate in studies of factors affecting the curriculum of the program

Clinical Instructor
Description
ATS Institute of Technology is currently hiring experienced clinical instructors for our practical nursing program. A clinical instructor supervises the nursing students practice in clinical settings by providing guidance, direction, and support appropriate to the clinical situation. Successful candidates will possess a BSN with at least two years’ experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. We are seeking for enthusiastic, engaging instructors capable of teaching and connecting with a student body with a wide range of prior experience and education. Orientation and training will begin upon hire.

- Assist in classroom instruction and nursing technology laboratory under the direction of a course faculty if requested
- Supervise students’ competencies to provide maximum learning for students and safety of patients
- Contribute to the evaluation of the student’s performance by providing information to the course faculty and the student regarding the student’s achievement of established objectives or outcomes.
- Complete the Clinical Evaluation tool in the NSST site
- Communicate with the course faculty regarding student performance weekly
- Document and counsel students when unsatisfactory behaviors are observed in clinical environment
