The process starts with a Financial Aid Application Interview
Contact us to schedule an interview. Allow approximately one hour for all the paperwork to be completed. The administrative assistant will help you with the following:
- Assist you to complete the FAFSA
- Submit your application to the federal central processing service
- Estimate your eligibility for the various financial aid programs
- Complete a Federal Direct Loan Master Promissory Note, and a pre-loan informational interview if you wish to take out a loan
- Inform you of any additional paperwork needed to complete the process
- Inform you of what you will be expected to pay and when
- Answer any questions you have about the costs associated with the program.
When you come to your interview please make sure you bring the following:
- Your federal Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form 1040 and W-2 forms
- Your parents’ federal IRS form and W-2 forms (dependent students only)
- Your spouse’s federal IRS form (married students filing separate returns)
- Records of benefits received from Social Security, Veterans Affairs, Child Support, and other agencies
- And your Legal Guardian (if you are a dependent students only)
